As an Oilers fan, I'm seriously excited for this team and hopefully will be more competitive this season for a playoff spot maybe. Also take care of Ceci for us!
When i was a kid watching evgeni Nabokov he was as good as anyone when he was on and in his prime. Hope askarov can bring that same game changing energy. We know hes got the talent and potential. Giving the young kid 2m per for the next 2 years fires him up mentally im sure too.

Wow! The potential we now have by adding this prospect to our new core group is pretty intoxicating. I really like the way the Sharks have re-imagined the front office under Mike Grier. It just makes a ton of sense if the intent is to identify, draft and develop players that we needed to double down on our front office team to put more eyeballs on the prospects and potential prospects.
I have a lot more confidence in the Sharks draft choices and I like the trades that Mike has been making. There is a logic to it all that seems fairly obvious given the Sharks circumstances when Mike took the GM job. I love that Mike was a Shark and I always liked him as a player even before the Sharks acquired him and was really glad when he joined the Sharks. I was excited when the Sharks hired him as GM and look forward to seeing the fruits of his labor come to fruition.
I completely agree that we still have a substantial amount of work to do before the Sharks are re-built and ready to go but, after this last ten days or so that day is definitely getting closer. Thanks Mike for everything you do for us and wishing you and your family all the best.

Seeing Logan as a pimple faced kid coming up that was lighting the lamp in the playoffs, he’s now one of the “old guys” on the team. Father Time undefeated!! I wonder if he goes to 3rd line C or LW as Jumbo did as he got older…. I feel lots of empathy and rooting for him to still play 😊
