Good 🌄, Gil, how are you? The Islanders are going to be fine offensively, if they stay healthy. So far, Noah Dobson is predicted to score 77points, Matthew Horvat, 70 points, just to name a few. Anthony DuClair, if all goes well, I can 👀 him getting higher than 55 points. Anders Lee, hard to tell. Ilya Sorokin. I can 👀 him bouncing back with 26 wins. Good morning team! Gil, another interesting topic today. The so-called "experts" are so-called for a reason. They like who they like, and the teams they don't, get the short end of the stick. Offensively I think we'll be just fine. Probably higher than their prediction, in my opinion. As long as the team blows it out of the water, in great play, I couldn't care less what the experts are saying. Can't wait to see what the addition of Duclair is going to do for our top line. At the very least, his presence should open more ice for Barzy & Bo. Time will tell. I like proving the experts wrong and they eat crow! Everyone, have a great day today! Lack of depth is astonishing as 27, 44 not moved by now remain on roster wasting $12 mil. in cap space away. And 30 needs to play like the $8 mil. a year goalie he is paid to be. Isles still at best an 88-90 pt. team battling for last w c spot-nothing more. No contender status with this roster. No way to make this roster a contender as currently constructed. And one so called 'expert' thinks isles should pto lebanc too dumb to know louzer can't even fit a pto under the cap until 26 goes bye bye. At least lebanc would outscore 18 so there is that.
They really need to cut down on their goals against also. If Roy can get them to do better with leads it will help. Anyway they are a lower rung playoff team. They no longer have the defense and speed to get past the first round.
