  1. DeAngelo seems to have issue with each team he join. Not sure he fits the culture in the Oilers' locker room.

  2. Edmonton has had some success taking on risky projects…but maybe enough is enough now. Things seem to be levelling out with Bowman at the helm…I hope not another controversial player comes to rock the boat.

  3. Deangelo has had some problems with his work ethic, we need our players to be working their hardest in the playoffs

  4. Oilers Defence wasn’t great last year. Without big D, broberg and ceci Im real worried. The additions (brown, stetcher, Emberson) are questionable, but may work out. If we have an injury we’re way too thin – I think we need 1-2 legit nhl D.

  5. God, not DeAngelo. He's been bought out twice. He had the least TOI on the Hurricanes' blue line last year and managed to be the only D man on the team with a negative expected +/- (worst on the team, too). They sat him for more than half the season. He's always coughed up the puck way more than he takes it away, and he hogs the offensive zone starts. Last year he didn't hit or block. He's a distraction at best and a huge morale problem at worst. The only part of that bit of news that I liked was that Seravalli said they SHOULD be looking at him, not that they were!

  6. I would love to have DeAngelo on the team with a friendly contract. He could be an awesome partner for Nurse, and if he doesn't work for whatever reason then we can easily deal with it. Low risk high reward signing

  7. There again goes the Oilers in their love for crappy players, that is, horrible plus minus players such as Tony

  8. If he makes the team better go get him. I'm not sure getting rid of Kulak is a good thing . He's a solid player .

  9. Draisaitl out and bring in a top pair defencemen. I know its not popular but if Draisaitl is looking too go too free agency I think moving him might really be the way too go. If they keep him around just too lose him in the next offseason well then really this team doesn't ever have a hope in winning the cup. Oilers fans should be more realistic keeping Mcdavid and Draisaitl might not be the best play. Perhaps you need too move one of them too keep the other or maybe in 2 seasons both will be gone.

  10. I'll take DeAngelo any day of the week. Accountability, is sorely missing in locker rooms anymore. There's quite a difference between being locker room cancer, and holding your teammates accountable.

Corey Perry showed it last season with Evander Kane. If someone calling out on your mistakes ruffles your feathers, well, either grow a thicker skin, play better so you aren't called out, or, I dunno, go run a lemonade stand or something.

  11. Honestly I still don't get the Perry resigning that was 1.2mill that could have gone to younger faster guys like I don't know Holloway or another D-Man, it made sense last year but bringing him back wasn't the play cap wise.

  12. In an older but popular NHL video game w/ close to current updated rosters, i traded a defenseman + a winger in exchange for DeAmgelo (his offense was/is relentless even simmimg games due to GM mode).

Infact, he's paired w/ Nurse ingame, so…yet another coincidence possibly may take place

Other past signings in vid game were Ekholm and Perry.

Cheers for your intuitive info account holder!

  13. Patrick you've been watching too many videos on hand movement. The key is BE GENUINE, and move genuinely. Don't be contrived, it's all too apparent, and distracting. And thanks for the great up to date content.

  14. DeAngelo is a terrible defenseman not sure why a lot of people want him. He can’t DEFEND, all he can do is run a PP and bleed at 5v5. there’s a reason why guys like him, Barrie, Schultz, and Shatenkirk are all available, they are basically the exact same player type can run a PP at a mediocre clip on bad teams. Oilers are better off staying away. Fabbro of Andersson should be their main targets, defenders who can actually defend

  15. Adding D’Angelo via PTO would make sense . Hard to know the actual chemistry in the Canes room plus Nurse has history with him. Thanks for the update

  16. I’m not a fan of Tony D but I think if there was any locker room issues there’s zero chance the Kane’s bring him back the second time not with Rod running the bench. If you can get him for under 1.15 million there’s zero risk as his cap hit is completely off the books when you put him on waivers

  17. I like that you thought that it was necessary to say that is was not gonna be Darnell Nurse. Cause you know – everyone is thinking that it is gonna be Darnell Nurse…

  18. I like it that the Oilers are the team of second chances for controversial players. If he's had locker room problems before I think playing with Mcdavid and Drai will humble him a bit. Worked with Kane 👍
