Outside of the extreme Carolina outlier, Colorado has one of the best contending-club prospect pools in the league. Ritchie and Gulyayev were both very good picks late in the 1st round, and they have an incredibly-intriguing goalie pool, who could at least be excellent trade bait at a deadline.
Where does Nicoli Kovelenko fit ? I have heard he could land a top 6 role on the Avs this season.
Jeremy Hanzel* was traded to the Predators at the deadline last season.
I still see Colorado might trade a couple of top prospects for NHL ready talent for the cup run. Who will be traded we don't know. In MacFarlane and sakic we trust.
Hanzel was traded for Sward and Trenin. Sward's rights have been lost because he was not signed by June 1st, 2024
