  1. It's never going to happen…sully all ready knows who he wants..I like him as a coach but ,,he has his favorites,,an thats who's playing

  2. If change needs to happen after five years, when is the head coaching going to be looked at as a possible problem? With the talent this roster has it is unacceptable for them to be this mediocre the last two seasons. Any other team with this caliber of talent would’ve fired the coach by now, especially after failing to make the playoffs in consecutive seasons.

  3. It's not all on Sullivan. Guys like Hayes and Acciari pretty much have to play because their salaries count too much against the cap for the next two seasons. If they don't play, then your only option is to waive them. But the problem with that is … their cap hits don't go away … it becomes more dead cap money through 2026 … like Jack Johnson, Jeff Petry and Reilly Smith. Or even worse … if you buy them out (like they once did with Jack Johnson), then they are going to add dead money on the cap through 2028. This is why a GM signing depth players for $2M-$4M AAV matters. Their contracts are guaranteed, and their cap hits can't just magically disappear if they aren't on the roster.

  4. It's kind of laughable that you are projecting a kid who played college hockey last season to the top six. I guess that just where this roster is at this point. Being NHL ready and being able to hop on the top two line of a team that has two centers that aren't exactly the easiest to play with are very different things.
