No thanks, Pacioretty is way past his prime, slow and with two Achilles tendon injuries prone to aggravating them. Liked him as a Hab and the leadership he has, but Tre shouldn’t sign this player. Full stop.
Makes me wonder if the Leafs wanted to bring in a veteran winger why not go after JVR instead? Same age as Pacioretty but has out produced him in points and hasn't been injury prone.

If Tree signs Patches he will lose my confidence. They have almost zero cap room, Patches is too old, too expensive gor a bottom six forward and he adds no defensive capabillities. Its stupid for the Leafs yo even be considering him.

I don’t think Patches is a good fit, while l nobody cares about the reg season, he wont be a playoff player ..not at his age. Pretty sure he doesnt really want to play here, just his agent Walsh is just using the threat of the leafs as leverage. Dont think this is going to happen boys
