>The brothers grew up in Salem County, starring on youth hockey teams before high school. They were preparing to appear as groomsmen in their sister’s wedding in the Philadelphia area on Friday.
>“We received the heartbreaking news regarding the tragic crash that took the lives of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, along with the charges brought against Sean Higgins,” Gaudenzia, which has run treatment centers since 1968, said in a statement. “We extend our sympathies to the Gaudreau family during this incredibly difficult time.”

>Matthew Gaudreau also played professional hockey for the Worcester Railers, a minor league team. He was recently the hockey coach at Gloucester Catholic High School, of which both brothers are alumni.

Ya stop trying to redeem the man with his uniform photo with a smile and mentioning he works at a rehab centre. He killed two men – that 100% wouldn’t be a photo if he was an average Joe working a 9-5 – it would be a mug shot.
Thatguyatthebar98
Fuck him. Hard forced labor for the rest of his life. What a piece of filth.

for someone out the loop in the nhl…in nfl or mlb or nba what would this be equivalent to in regards to status/talent?
Magoatt
Sadly the most this guy will serve is 20 years.
Just 10 years per death
New Jersey has a law called death by automobile (car) and the charges are just 10 years in jail. The guy also had a previous 2005 DWI charged but the charge never went into effect due to the police officer never showing up to court; he got let off.

He deserves to have his life burned down around him. Absolute POS.

He’s probably one of those really agressive drivers too and would’ve pulled the same move even while sober. Fuck this guy.
Trailmix88
Good. In addition to being prosecuted by the state of NJ, he will likely be subjected to UCMJ article 113 (and others) as well.

Buddy had a prior drunk driving incident, I think was in early 2000s. He got let go as the cop didn’t show in court. Guys a repeat offender and I don’t think his habit will change from the current tragedy he caused. Lock him up for good
