Johnny Gaudreau est décédé tragiquement avec son frère Matthew jeudi. Le couple a été impliqué dans un accident de la route en état d’ivresse alors qu’ils circulaient à vélo la veille du mariage de leur sœur. 1. Hi there, normally a locked on Avalanche listener coming in to say this was not the news I was wanting to see this morning, rest in peace the gaudreau brothers, the hockey world will never be the same, extremely saddened by the news gone way to soon. R.I.P 💔🕊️

  2. As Habs fan. So sad so young. I feel for the fans , his family and any anyone who is close to him in his life. I saw Make A Wish video that Johnny granted to sick kid last year and it shows the kind of man Johnny is off the ice. It sucks big time for Sean Monahan unfortunately won't be able to reunite with him with The Jackets this season. RIP The Gaudreau Bros.

  3. God Bless You, Jess. We all know how hard that was for you, but as always, you nailed it. Sleep well dear….

  4. As a Canadian Penguins hockey fan I just want to say to you Jess that I hope you are doing well and that you did a great job covering this sad news for the Gaudreau family and friends of Johnny and Matthew. This was the first episode of the Locked On Flames podcast that I have ever watched and listened to. Thank you for sharing this episode of Locked On Flames after such a wonderful Friday for the Gaudreau family quickly turned into an extremely difficult time for them. Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to all of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau’s families and friends, teammates and coaches.

  5. I think about this, if his drunk driver had crashed 100 yards from where Johnny and Matthew were riding their bikes, Johnny and Matthew would have been the first ones to help this man! Why? Because that’s the type of people they were!

  6. I loved watching Johnny play hockey for the Flames, especially in the battle of Alberta matches against Edmonton. I'm an Ottawa fan (once we got a team) and always catch the late western game on Saturday nights. I remember watching one such epic game against the Oilers a year or two before Johnny was traded where the Flames won 9-6. It was such a back and forth game with Johnny, Lindholm, Tkachuk, and Draisaitl and McDavid scoring amazing highlight reel goals, one after the other. Johnny's playmaking was unreal. What a beauty!! Lots of love from Ottawa
