There’s a massive argument for this entire list. Bossy Lidstrom Yzerman Bourque Brodeur…guys like Dionne Iginla Bure. A lot of these names were crucial to their teams success. And some the only star on their team. And most played same era agaisnt guys like Gretzky, Lemiuex etc. tough

I’ll choose lidstrom over Yzerman in this one. A near technically perfect defenseman is more valuable than a power forward

Probably Marcel. Being in L.A he was overlooked. Him and hawerchuk are probably the most underrated players to ever play.
Lidstrom. Look at all the seasons he played. to play at that high a level for that long and never win MPV…maybe its just bad luck because he played for Red Wings team loaded with talent.
Yzerman. Detroit had no one else in the 80s. One man show. Most points ever by someone not named Wayne or Mario.
Lidstrom. All the Norris’ were the voters reasons for not giving him a Hart too.
