  1. I agree with you guys. Well done. It seems my 2 teams(Isles & Yankees) are the only ones who do these stupid hair rules anymore. Though nothing was as offensive to athletes Free Speech/Free Expression as the NBA putting a controversial political org-'BLM' on the court in bold letters. Then mandating players to wear jerseys w/out their names & replaced w/ Leftist memes. I agee w/ many of BLMs core beliefs but ntl if the year before you predicted the NBA would make those changes, you would've been(rightfully) called a 'White Supremacist Conspiracy Theorist' who is just 'fear mongering' & trying to create racial tension & division. Can you imagine if the NHL had 'MAGA' on the ice & then jerseys w/ anti-Woke memes?

  2. Disagree! ALL business' have dress, and overall appearance codes. Look at how disgusting some players look when it gets out of hand. Brett Burns looks professional? Please! Excellent rule. The Isles and Yanks got it right! IMHO

  3. I realize that this a young channel and you are still trying to find your way in terms of content, so in what I hope will be taken as a friendly suggestion…here we go…The NY Islanders have a really poor roster, their farm system is a raging dumpster fire, and their current general manager will leave this team in a couple of years(hopefully) in much the same state as he found it(if not worse). Content concerning hair and clothing really does not stand out as an attempt to grow a channel devoted to a hockey franchise.

  4. Why do you care? It has nothing to do with you. You don't play for the Islanders. "Times have changed" is one of the dumbest arguments. People wander around in their pajamas half the time. If the place you work has a dress code, then you have to follow it, Very soft take

  5. Why are we having this discussion? It's always been the rule, just like the yankees. we should now change the rules because of one person? I think not.

  6. I totally agree with how lou feels but at the same time I don't care what the players really look like but I also completely understand what lou wants

  7. It's their job, and he wants them th look Professional I have zero issue with dress code and must be shaved policy. The hair players should be able to have hair how ever they like

  8. This is the same Lou Lamarillo who wouldn’t let his team dress in costumes for the outdoor game against the Rangers. Lou is a stickler for his teams appearance.
