  1. I bleed “Hockey Blue” (Noel Piccard’s term.) This was a terrible trade for us. Armie gave far too many players a “No trade clause” and now we’re stuck with all these “over priced has been defensemen,” who have lost a step or 2 and shouldn’t even be in a top 3 rotation…

  2. this is devastating man. Glad he’s gonna be able to carry his kids but our d line is worse without him on it. Hope his recovery is swift and complete

  3. You can think about him in any way. But I NEVER wish this upon anyone. This is truly devastating to see. You can tell he cares about this franchise. This could be a career ending injury for him. Ankle injuries are no joke.

  4. This sounds like a "we don't want you to play for us, how about you get that surgery now" type of situation. He even said playing hockey it's not as bad due to being in a boot. And with all the dman the Blues had they probably said we're going to put you in the minors since you don't want to accept a trade and then they settled on doing the surgery.

  5. Based on what he said and his raw emotions, this sounds like a career ending injury and Krug kind of knows it but hasn't totally processed it yet. Poor guy

  6. I wish him the best. I think he played his heart out for the Blue Note and that is all one can ask.

Best of luck to you Torey! You are and will be a Blue.
