1000th sub
Boring Wpg downgraded for sure
Chevy is looking like the Danny Ainge of the NHL if this trade ends up being like the trade we did with the Kings. For those of you that don't follow the NBA, Danny Ainge is an executive for the Utah Jazz (most notably known for his time as a GM for the Boston Celtics) finessing teams he does deals with.
Yager has to go back to whl, moosejaw, even though he is ahl ready, although he needs to put on weight
A great move by Chevy. The long term 2C solution has been found.
The future center of the jets for the 2nd line. HUGE FROM CHEVY
I see what Chevy did here. Got a prairie boy, Saskatoon boy, not a prima donna from the USA. 🇺🇸
Although I agree with a lot of your points, I do think that your labelling yager as a 3rd line center which I gotta disagree with. He has all the tools to become a top 6 center, speed, hands, shooting, compete. Sure he has to make that jump but potential wise it’s definitely top 6. His floor absolutely is a middle 6 however which I can agree on. But with his smaller frame, he’s not adequate for a bottom 6 or 3rd line role, even if he fills out his frame. The tools just have top 6 written, it’s the question of can he make the jump which is the question for all prospects. McGroarty has top 6 potential as well, but with his size and lack of speed I can honestly see him fitting as an amazing 3rd line scoring winger, but both are amazing prospects with top 6 potential.
Nice trade all around
I love this trade. We get rid of an American born entitled University star, ensuring our locker room has no players with demands that have not been earned at the pro level. We gain a true future key piece to our future. Pittsburgh gets a locker room tumor.
CONGRATULATIONS on you 1000 subscriptions awesome! I think I started following at under 1 hundred . Great to see your channel growth.👍🙂
you got fleeced !! lol
thanks for mcgroarty, enjoy your 4th line center in 3 years 😂😂😂
I think it's way too early to say who won or lost. Excited to get back a player who ostensibly wants to play for our team. I'm looking forward to see how he progresses over the next two seasons.
Pens fan here. I’m going to miss Yager, very intelligent kid. Excited to see how he develops with the Jets. Treat him well!
Pens fans and the pens organization were high as kites on Yager, no intention of trading him. It’s just that this could be Crosby, Malkin, and Letangs last healthy season together so Dubas sort of owed it to them to get a good young player right now
Pens fan here, sad to see BY go hope he does well for you this is a very talented young man I know he may be year or two away but when he gets his chance you wont be disappointed, treat him well
I guess that we will never know what MTL really offered for McGroarty before the Laine trade.
Jets should have taken the MTL’s offer at draft for 21st and Barron. It’s basically like Hage + Barron for Rutger. Now Hage is taking Rutger’s spot at Michigan top line. Barron can be the useful right hand d Jets needed. Yager is just a downgrade.
Part of me would have loved to seen Cody glass in the trade. Somehow that definitely would have fortified the second position a little bit
