The more I watch him the more the comparison to Kucherov (and idk if this has been said but Datsyuk as well) seems to fit. It’s not just the elite handling, but also how he does it in such a relaxed way. He’s just flowing like water out there.
But the really crazy part is that skill seems to be mixed with a serious work ethic and motor, so I totally get the Kaprizov comparison too.
And just to top it all off he’ll be joining a team where there’s so much skill supporting him. Who can say what happens in the next 5-10 years in Montreal but we at least know it’ll be must-watch hockey.
