>Giordano’s goal is to pursue a Stanley Cup this season, but jumping on with a team like the Flames, which seems unlikely, or the Sabres, could be the first step towards that.
>“In Buffalo, who we’re talking to, they’ve got young kids who could benefit. They’re a little worried with his pedigree, will he be happy with the ice time, will he be happy if he’s a part-time player,” Winter stated. “Ultimately, Gio has to make a decision as to what will help him accomplish his goals.”
I wouldn’t hate this. Especially if he gels with Power

I hope they’re talking about a development coaching opportunity.

He is not a good fit with the Oilers at this point imo and in Buffalo he would mostly serve as a mentor with limited ice time for the young D. He’s better served on a Buffalo, San Jose, Utah type team with Buffalo being closer to making playoffs of the 3.

As a PP specialist, sure. Definitely don’t want him playing more than 10 even strength mins a game though
Go_Sabres
I’ll be shocked if he comes here. Just my opinion. It’s been difficult for us to attract free agents.

Interesting
Not a bad add but between Krebs and having too many D….something has got to happen

That’s a hard no from me. He was looking washed last year. Constantly trapped in his own zone. Terrible outlet passes. More stupid icings than you care to think about. No thanks.

I’d be nice if he was right handed…
He’ll go to EDM

If we can live with his abysmal speed.
I’ve been told Giordano will never leave Toronto
