I wouldn’t hate this. Especially if he gels with Power
I hope they’re talking about a development coaching opportunity.
He is not a good fit with the Oilers at this point imo and in Buffalo he would mostly serve as a mentor with limited ice time for the young D. He’s better served on a Buffalo, San Jose, Utah type team with Buffalo being closer to making playoffs of the 3.
As a PP specialist, sure. Definitely don’t want him playing more than 10 even strength mins a game though
I’ll be shocked if he comes here. Just my opinion. It’s been difficult for us to attract free agents.

That’s a hard no from me. He was looking washed last year. Constantly trapped in his own zone. Terrible outlet passes. More stupid icings than you care to think about. No thanks.
