A rise in ticket prices to compensate. That’s what’s next.

I see them wanting a upgrade but knowing they have to start winning to ask sooooooo maybe we win now?

    >“The roof and the scoreboard are just Phase I. That’s all. I’ve not even been here six months yet, but we’re in the mode where everything’s on the table,” Guelli said in a chat with The Buffalo News last week. “We want to evaluate the building, listen to fan feedback and strategically determine what’s next. Being candid, we’ve got a big appetite.”

    >The building is in dire need of not just a scoreboard, but the sweeping renovation/reimagination that we’ve seen at fellow 1990s NHL arenas such as in Boston, Chicago, Tampa, Montreal, Washington, Los Angeles, Nashville, St. Louis, Philadelphia and Carolina.

    >Another example is at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. The home of the Maple Leafs and NBA’s Raptors did about $60 million of work during the 2010s and is in the final stages of another $350 million, two-year project to transform the suites, concourses, technology, retail spaces and restaurants.

    >“Everybody (who has a season ticket or minipack) has a service rep that they can go to,” Guelli said. “I’m active on social media and that’s intentional, because I want to hear what the fans have to say. Those kind of comments don’t go unnoticed. When we hear something that continually comes up, it’s definitely going to be part of the plan.”

    >Guelli said the entire arena environs, including the plaza and surrounding buildings, are being studied.

    >“We’re very aware of every single parcel that surrounds this building, some of them that we have control over, some of them that other developers have control over,” he said. “It starts with the arena. If you get the arena right, we think that there’s an opportunity for development.”

    How about a playoff game

I couldn’t care less about a scoreboard and a new roof falls under regular maintenance. I don’t remember getting interviewed by the Buffalo News when I had a new roof installed.

I don’t mind taxpayer money going into the arena if it attracts more concerts and arena type events. Buffalo seems to be getting passed over for more and more with attractions doing the triangle around us of Toronto, Pittsburgh and Cleveland. If a plan for Phase 2 is presented that can deliver on that, it should be considered.

If they can win games maybe they can get more in. I’ve been to arenas like Chicago,Boston and NJ. We’re not a bad arena but outdated when you compared to them. Yeah the suites are homie especially around but I’ve look at those and they’re just cooler. Simple as that we don’t need to be spectacular as those arenas, but it makes our arena look like a food court with lighting worst than the malls by us

Fuck it. NBA expansion to bring back the Buffalo Braves.

GOAT-Head displayed once again in center ice along with one blowing smoke put of its nostrils when the Sabres score. Also, red seats instead of blue if they decide to make the GOAT-Head its primary.

A better team? One that actually tries to win?

I’m not reading this propaganda but I hope it’s new seats

Some bathrooms that don’t require a tetanus booster would be great. But I’ll continue to tolerate A LOT if they WIN ffs. New Jumbotron is great, bracing myself to watch disaster now in crystal clear detail lmao
