  1. The worst coach was a close one, Laforge definitely had some argument to it but the overall upvote count was higher for Keenan. When I counted the overall upvotes this morning, it accounted to:

    Keenan: 554

    Laforge: 415

Therefore the worst coach of all time goes to Keenan

  2. Eric Weinrich

17 seasons and 1157 games played, 16 of which were with the Canucks.

  3. BassGuy11

John Vanbiesbrouck. Well, he not so much played for us, but he was officially a Canuck before getting claimed by Florida in the expansion draft.

  4. fastcurrency88

Derek Sanderson. 16 games, 7 goals and nine assists.

  5. sandiercy

Because we all want to forget about it, Mark Messier.

    Fuck Mark Messier.

  6. Aegis_1984

Robert McVicar played all of 2:44 for the Canucks

  7. OnTopSoBelow

Sam Gagner. Lived in Oil Country for a while and he is a household name with Edmonton that I was actually surprised and had forgotten he was a canuck temporarily

  8. Fedorov, Pronger, Kariya, Benn

EDIT: Since OP says can only choose one, go for the greatest point discrepancy: **Fedorov** (1,177 pts apart)

  9. seasonswither10

Jussi Jokinen played 14 games for the Canucks

  10. Marco Sturm

    Obviously Mats Sundin.

Sam Gagner but with the caveat I actually saw Gagner score a goal assisted by the Sedins live inside Rogers Arena in 2018 🤣

I’m gonna say Petr Nedved as well. Even though he started his career with us he was gone by the 1994 run and therefore never really cemented himself as a member of the early 1990s Canucks even though… he actually was. He’s more of a Pittsburgh penguin to me

  11. SevenDalmationArmy

    Glenn Anderson.

He was claimed on waivers before he could play his first game. I only saw him practice with the Canucks once.

Here’s the backstory from his Wikipedia post 1994-95 lockout:

“Anderson signed with the Canucks as a free agent. His reasons for joining the team were because of former Oiler teammate Esa Tikkanen already playing there and a desire to finish his career in his hometown.[41] However, Anderson never played for the Canucks as the Oilers picked him up on re-entry waivers.[5] Anderson expressed his disappointment at these turn of events, as he wanted to play in Vancouver instead.”

So… he technically never played for us but did practice with the team and was officially a member for a minute.

I think here it has to be a well know long term player (we have had players who’s only nhl game was as a Canuck ) who not only no one thinks of as a Canuck but was big news (which disqualifies Sundin ) and played a fairly high numbers of games

Also im not counting PTO or other never played a regular or playoff fans Season game

Marc Bergevin 19 seasons 1191 regular season as a solid Defenceman played his last 9 game as a Canuck (also played 3playoff games v 80 overall)

  13. saucytopcheddar

Joey Kocur. Some guy on r/hockey was doing a series of posts about players on unusual teams recently and, when the Canucks came up, this was the one I had no idea about.

  14. corporateslavethe2nd

Igor Larinov. Red wing legend. Was a Canuck first.
