well clicking through these photos at work was a mistake

I don’t understand why people feel the need to take pictures in this environment. Leave them alone and let them be vulnerable.

Edit: I’m not criticizing that this was livestreamed, I am criticizing someone taking screenshots of Monny extremely distraught and broadcasting that to the world.

While a bit more tabloidy since it was outside the venue, the CBS stream showed Monahan, Guy and Jane embracing after the fact outside and it was a gut wrenching moment. Monahan was the one escorting them outside for a while.

I watched most of it and it was still heartbreaking…. seeing Guy on the verge of collapsing through the entire thing was just so devastating. Losing one son is unimaginable let alone losing both at the same time….. I really wish time can help with their healing.

Live stream or not, feels inappropriate to screenshot parts like this and post. No fucking shit Sean is broken up, we all are and we didn’t even know the Gaudreau brothers.

Sean’s face oh my gosh. I want to give him a big hug

  7. Man the fact Monahan signed in Columbus and they were gonna be able to play together again makes the whole situation so much worse. I keep thinking about that moment after the goal when Johnny ran down the tunnel to give him a hug. Heart wrenching man

I couldn’t bring myself to watch this. I know they would have had to agree to it, and I am very sad, but it felt so wrong thinking about watching someone’s private sadness.

This isn’t judgement on anyone who did, just trying to put how I feel about it in words. This is all just so unbelievably sad.
