Not too much in Sid’s career that he’s wanted to get done and hasn’t.
I mean I get why people were worried but the chances of this dude NOT playing for the Penguins was at 0.1%

Lots of rumours out there but from I’m hearing ( again rumours) Sid wants 4 years and Pittsburgh is offering him 2 years and a job in the front office. I’m sure he’s getting that anyway

This is good to hear. I knew it would get done, but everyday that passed since 8/7, I’ve been putting somewhere between 8 to 7 cents in the curse jar.

The more I think about it, why wouldn’t Sidney Crosby wait until the last minute to sign? He’s the god damn driver of this race car. Dubas and company should have everything in order first regarding other trades and signings. Sid has nothing to prove, the team does, and we’ve seen it. I don’t know, I’ve seen this as less about money and more about Sid, or his agent, being comfortable with management decisions first. Regardless, I’m excited.
