I was at the Oakland A's game earlier today and before the game started a couple of guys were talking about Brodie Brazil being let go. They were deservedly pissed at that decision by NBC Sports. I went to high school with Brodie and he was and still is a very nice and cool guy. I wish him the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do next in his life.
There are currently only four teams in the 32-team NHL with a team name that’s more than one word (no, Utah “Hockey Club” does not count 😛, and yes, Blackhawks used to be two words but it hasn’t been for about four decades). Several teams starting a league with only one word in their team names doesn’t seem like too big a deal to me.
I think Dallas would be a good spot for Robertson,he gets a chance to play with his brother which may make him happier

As a Ducks fan, if Anaheim wants to add Brodie in some capacity in this Victory+ adventure I would not be opposed.

Robertson is acting like a petulant child so send him to his room (home) until he wants to act like a grown man and play hockey. He isn’t going to get better by playing no hockey this year
Robertson has been rolling in and out of the NHL roster for a few years with the Leafs. It's understandable why he wants out now. If he hadn't been through so much tumbling, he'd see this year as an opportunity to finally claim a permanent spot on the team. At this point though it sounds like he's better off elsewhere (if anyone wants him).

I just wanted to say thank you to Shannon for mentioning Brodie Brazil and what he means to a lot of us Sharks fans and also to Oakland A's fans. I have seen Shannon a few times on Brodies YouTube channel and it's always awesome to watch two of my favorite hockey personalities just talking about the sport we love.
I always had an impossible dream that the ducks would somehow get Jason Robertson. But I would still be super stoked if we made an attempt at Nick Robertson.

If you’re wondering about Brodie. His cousin is my barber and he was telling me how the A’s offered him a new contract to follow the team to Sacramento and he said no. Not saying that’s the reason but wouldn’t be surprised if it was. He was trying to go work with giants after this season so maybe the John Fisher the owner might’ve done something to tell NBC not to renew his contract
