Mark Howe. He’s got his number retired for a reason!

  2. It’s Mark Howe.

    It’s not even close.

  3. Shamrock_6

    Pronger.

If Pronger is not eligible, then Mark Howe.

  4. Big_Acanthocephala14

Pronger was the best defenseman to wear a Flyers jersey. Howe was the best Flyers defenseman. Take that how you will.

Kinda out of pocket to pick Pelle here. Wasted potential is supposed to be a player that never pans out in my eyes.

  6. PaddyMayonaise

Mark Howe and it’s not even close. Pronger wasn’t here long enough.

Until Lindros, Mark Howe was the only retired number not to have won a Cup. That just shows how good he is.

  7. How are we forgetting about Éric Desjardins?

edit: Alright, Howe is better, but Desjardins has to be #2. Just crazy to not even see him mentioned

  8. Material-Assistant94

Éric Desjardins. Pronger and Timonen are also 2 other very good candidate !

  9. shrimply__pibbles

Mark Howe is the only correct answer

  10. Stew514

If Yandle was here long enough to be worst, Pronger should be best here

  11. dishwasher_mayhem

It’s Mark Howe by a country mile. Just wrap this one up.

  12. stonedrelic007

No one remembers a guy named Coffey?

I mean if Yandle is able to get ‘Worst’ with only being here for 1 season than I have to say Pronger is my answer. But if we are going for longevity here than it’s Howe.
