There is zero doubt we need an upgrade at G. I respect Georgie and I was optimistic we could turn him into a top 10 goalie, but it doesn’t seem like that’s going to be the case. Making the 2nd round simply isn’t good enough with our core. It cannot be “aw shucks, bad hand this year with some lucky bounces their way, always next year!”. The leadership in the room know that as much as anyone. Cup winning teams have bonafide top 10 starters. Name the last time a team won the cup without one.
Hope no one gives me any BS either about his wins. We all know that team infront of him is the best in the league. We just aren’t the best in the league collectively without a top 10 goalie.
