Sa disparition a été exagérée… Les Leafs signent Jani-Hakanpaa pour un contrat d’un an (1,47 M$)

So what was wrong with him. People were saying he would never play again lmao

Hopefully he stays healthy and can help out the PK and be a steady 3rd pair guy

I honestly thought we signed him on July 1.

Get him some of that South American stem cell injections into both of those knees. They use the good stuff!

Did he / will he pass a physical?

I don’t like it. How do you not get a guy who has Schrodinger’s career ending injury to sign a league minimum deal? We’ll be counting him against the cap to sit in the press box.

real talk, shoulda tried to stay with the 2 year deal. if he pans out, contract likely a steal. if he is injured, ltir baby.

TO ME, when he was originally signed, i took it as, oh, the leafs know he is injured this year, and really we are keeping him for year 2, and this cap hit was the cost of having to do that.

    but i guess not.

He’s a good 5-6 dman if he stays healthy. Even is he played 60 games, that’s a solid improvement.
