Grille des joueurs des Sabres, jour 4 : le pire

Hasek a été le plus voté/élu comme le meilleur par une écrasante majorité. La réponse la plus votée sur ce post remportera la moins bonne.

Recency bias but Cody Eakin was pretty fkn bad

I like the idea of Krueger here but GMTM royally fucked us with some bad trades and fucking atrocious drafting, litterally pissed away so many assets we still have not recovered into a playoff team 12 years later.

Just noticing that there are categories for best D and G but not forward…why? Feels like Perreault gets shafted since Hasek (of course) takes the best player at any position slot.

So here’s the question: is it just straight up worst? Because someone like Dalton Smith would quality and be the easy answer because he was not an NHL-caliber player and managed to play two minutes for the Sabres.

That said, guys like Ville Leino and Rasmus Ristolainen are among the worst players to put on a Sabres jersey based on their expectations and how they played.

Morris Titanic. 1st round pick with the following career stat line:

    19 GP
    0 G
    0 A
    0 Pts
    0 PIM

Even Leino did more than that.

  6. Has to be Leino but special shout out to Wade Simmonds career as a Buffalo Sabre

    Patrik Berglund, Rory Fitzpatrick (sorry)

I’d like to propose a minority opinion–Aaron Dell. Went 1-8 in nine games, had a GAA above 4, he took Ryan Miller’s number and earned himself a suspension for injuring Drake Batherson in a season when we were scraping the bottom of the goalie barrell.

Taylor Hall ranks high on my list…absolute bust in blue and gold

Erhoff, without the compliance buyout he may have been WORSE for Buffalo than Leino. But both could qualify as any teams worst signing ever
