  1. Hopefully Hertl gives the Knights the spark they need to make a run when he gets back on the ice. Maybe April 2 against the Canucks.

  2. The "LTIR hack" only makes sense for teams that are obviously going to make the playoffs regardless. You avoid having a lot of talent count against the salary cap, and then that talent miraculously becomes available in the post-season when the salary cap no longer applies.

    The downside is that the player(s) involved are not available for extended amounts of time in the regular season, and if without them the team doesn't make the playoffs, then having them available for the playoffs doesn't really help very much.

  3. Most fans aren’t upset with Vegas, just irked with how random this exploit is. Fans just want a patch to the game
