Prove it year
Nice, solid “prove yourself” contract. I hope he has a great season.
Glad he got signed before training camp! I hope he makes the squad this year, he’s got lots to prove still.
This prove it contract was inevitable, not sure what took so long to negotiate.
Hopefully, he stays healthy and gets his NHL legs under him!
Huberdeau’s son finally signed!
He’s shown a lot of promise in his limited time. I think had he not gotten injured last year he’d have already “proven it” and probably gotten like a 2 or 3 bridge deal

That low cap hit pretty much guarantees he makes the Flames out of camp. The potential there is still too high for 31 other teams to ignore when he’s only making 800k. If we had given him like a 2 year deal over 1M other teams might have hesitated on a waiver claim.
Hopefully, he will perform, or else he’ll leave Calgary.

Was so excited for him before his injury, hopefully he can have a bounce back season!
I dont wanna go through another Phillips! Lets go Pelletier! Hope he had a good off season and is feeling like himself, he would be very exciting to watch if he can take that next step
