Honestly would have preferred JVR.
JVR looked good in a 4th line role in Boston but I’m fine with old Patches. Maybe he can throw a wrench or two in on PP2 and improve a weakness we have.
I mean woulda preferred JVR…..mostly so I could wear my jersey again tho.

Jvr would have been better for the playoffs. Patches will be cooked by December and on LTIR. JVR is durable where Max is not. Am I wrong?
JVR outplayed Marner in the first round last year. Infuriating

tbh I feel that between JVR and Patches, Patches is probably the more likely candidate to have an old man strength season.
Still would prefer Robertson, but if Patches signs a NHL contract, barring Kampf or Jancrok being moved, a combination of Timmins and Robertson will probably need to be moved to stay under the cap.
Jivver would have been so much better
No offense to Patches, but last year was not a good year for him…
People only like JVR more because of the history, but 2 years ago JVR scored 24 goals in 82 games where as Pacioretty had 19 goals in 39. This was before his injury but a 40 goal pace not that long ago is pretty solid, and healthy he might be worth it
Can’t stand JVR, all he does is float around and chew his mouth guard.
