Burmistrov also had a ton of skill but never panned out.

Jets 1.0: Stu Barnes – Turned into a decent player on other teams. Jets traded him for Randy Gilhen…
Jets 2.0: Sami Niku – Not sure what happened there.

In Jets 1.0, I nominate Iain « Slam » Duncan. He has a great rookie campaign with great speed and good hands, then out on 10-15 pounds heavier, all of that muscle, and never matured as a player.

Nic Petan or Sami Niku
PuckTheFreds
1.0 Kris Draper, 2.0 PL DuBois

Logan Stanley. I remember when he was drafted a lot of people thought he would slot in pretty well since he’s a big body and just needed a season or two to get his skating up to par. Thought he’d pan out like a Tyler Myers but it’s not looking like it anymore.

2.0 Sami Niku, wasted potential. That hair just immaculate to not play in the show.

He did have a couple of great years but i do think it might be Laine still. I love the guy and hope his career is great, but for a 2nd overall pick, I don’t think he a) Stayed with the team for long enough, and b) struggled with off ice issues that impacted him heavily on the ice.
HotCoffee-ColdPizza
1.0 Jason Doig
2.0 Sami Niku
etchiboi
Pionk, for a multitude of reasons he fell off very hard after the bubble season
Ehlers, under utilized his peak years
Laine, overall impact never really clicked outside of his shooting talent

Sami Niku had us all hyped for quite a bit.
