I mean this is a pointless thread, if Clarke is best flyer he is best forward.

I vote Claude Giroux, with full expectations of this going to Bobby Clarke.

I’m sorry. I know I missed this yesterday, but did Kjell Samuelsson not get any votes for slowest?

It’s Clarke, and it’s not really close. Only Flyer with 1000+ points in Orange and Black, 3x Hart Winner, captain of their only cup teams, and if Clarke never scored a goal in his career, his 852 assists would have him in 4th place all time in Flyers scoring.
Now, if we’re saying best player, including accomplishments elsewhere, to ever wear the orange and the black, it’s Jagr.

Lindros, if not Clarke
jahtzee375
If its not Clarke, might I suggest Bill Barber? All time leader in goals and critical to the 74/75 cup wins

I will have to go with Clarke BUT IF he stayed healthy, Lindros. What he could have been.

I’ll say it… Lindros

Clarke – Already the best Flyer ever
Lindros – Could have been the best Flyer ever and had potential to be among the best ever in the league
Giroux – Best flyer in modern times

If you cannot win 2x on the board then **Bill Barber.**

I say Lindros. If we arent using their entire career as a barometer and just going with simply « best forward » at any point in their careers, hes the best flyers forward and the only flyers forward who could be reasonably considered the best forward in the NHL.

It’s G. But you’re prob gonna save him for best handles … so I duno Mike Richards? Actually I’d probably go Simon Gagne, one of my all
time favorites. (& Kimmo should’ve got best defender)
Blev088
Jagr – if the criteria is best forward to ever wear a Flyers jersey the answer is Jagr and it’s not a conversation. Otherwise, I’m not sure how you explain Pronger as best defender. That should be Howe, or Coffey, Pronger should not be up there.

Can we get a bonus category added for best and worst fighters?
RedeemerOfSin
Given Clarke as best overall, this would have been more interesting as « Best Winger ». I would venture most teams consensus best player is a center.
Sir_FrancisCake
He doesn’t deserve to win but I just want to throw some love to Simon Gagne

Best Flyers forward = Clarke.
Best forward to play for the Flyers = Jagr.

Lindros, Leclair, Recchi and Bill Barber would all be above Giroux imo. Clarke is obviously the best should have made it that you can’t pick the same player twice.
