Its a shit test. And Torts balls to the wall style of play may allow them to get the jump on teams early in the season. But their lack of talent forces them to play like that from game 1 to game 82 while talented teams can gradually ramp it up and surpass them as the season goes on. That is why they crapped the bed in the final weeks of the season. They wore out. Hard work plus talent will beat hard work minus talent every time. The Flyers dont have a monopoly on working hard or having a "standard." All teams that win the cup work hard and have a standard. The Flyers need talent.
