@Maple Leafs de Toronto

Again , our best prospect are defensemen , so even though they’re skilled , we still need offence , that’s why I’ll continue to say that the reinbacher pick was a horrible mistake

Go ask Philly if they’d trade michkov straight up for reinbacher right now😂😂😂 the habs were worry about michkov 3 years contract, well it’s two years later and michkov is here and reinbacher is a defensive defenseman that was drafted with a 5th overall pick 🤦‍♂🤦‍♂🤦‍♂ if I was Hughes , I’d trade him right now as he still has a bit of value

  2. I can see all the issues with each player and since last year the returnees have not improved at all so yeah age is a poor excuse. The Leafs prospects actually had like 3-4 players who just know how to play the game win battles win big faceoffs great skating and confidence.
Habs prospects were better 2nd games but still often easy to knock off puck but the LEafs players were able to fend off habs checkers.

  3. I was at the game. Hutson was the only player that managed to get the crowd to go "Ohhh and Ahhhh" on random plays. The kids is awesome! If he keeps this up, I can see him crack the line up this upcoming season.

  4. Love the content and this channel, newer follower as I found you in the offseason but absolutely loving the videos and very much looking forward to watching your videos all season long. Here's to a great channel, creator and to a growing, building and a successful season to the boys. Go Habs Go!!!!

  5. Watched both games have no idea how he stays out of the line up this year ( and Logan looked really good as well ) on a side note Florian is an animal

  6. I was there. Yes. It took some time for the rookie team to gel and work together. PP guys… that needs some work. And it was crazy to see Xhekaj (Florian that is) was agressive, Hutson to dingle dangle, and Mailloux seemed to hold his own. Looking forward to see the other guys.

  7. Thorpedo was a surprise standout, I thought Larose looked good too. Totally agree otherwise on the forwards. When Hutson is getting more breakaways and offensive touches than any of our forwards, its not a great sign.

  8. Sucks for the Leafs kids. Played they're entire life to wear a NHL jersey in sort of a NHL game and the Leafs are like "Here is a practice jersey loser". Wow what a disappointment I am sure.

  9. the only problem the habs have now is that the NHL roster is mostly locked in already because many have NHL only contracts.
the florian line must become our 4th line sooner than later and Owem Beck must be a NHL ASAP.

  10. i feel like he overcomplicates LEGIT everything which costs him, if he plays normal hockey he'd be better

  11. Hinnestly, after watching both game (unpopular opinion incomming) I am more excited for Mailloux and Reinbacker than Hutson.

  12. Habs prospects are pretty Overrated ngl. Toronto had a couple prospects and invited players and still lost 2/2 thats kinda sad ngl. Top 10 Prospect pool is kinda a reach

  13. So good yet they’ve lost two games in a row to one of the shittiest pools of rookies in the league

  14. Hutson definitely stood out the most offensively, but to me, Mailloux had the best complete game out of all the players. Maiiloux is ready to be slotted into the top 4 and play big minutes, he has the defensive game to help cover for Hutson, and has the offensive ability to help Hutson thrive as well. I say our future top 4 is going Hutson-Maiiloux, and Guhle-Reinbacher. And I agree that the forward group was underhwelming, Tuch, Heinamen, Kidney all have good potential to be solid 3rd line players and I think Beck is the only one who showed maybe top 6 potential. But lucky for habs their top 6 is already solid, Caufield-Suzuki-Slaf and Laine-Dach-Newhook are solid top 6 guys, and then when we add in Demidov in place of Newhook the top 6 will be full. Then the class of Roy, Tuch, Kidney Heinamen, Beck will all compete for bottom 6 roles and we will have to find out which one of those suit that style of game best.

  15. Going to the home opener for the first time, cannot wait to feel how electric the centre bell is on that Wednesday night

  16. “There wasn’t really anyone up front that screamed top six NHL talent.” Maybe so, but a Stanley Cup winning team needs high level bottom six NHL talent, and Beck, Xhekaj and Thorpe showed that this weekend. The future top six forwards in this team are either in the KHL or already in the NHL (CC13, NS14, JS20, KD77, PL92…).

Mesar, Heineman and Farrell have a large task ahead of them to break into that group…
