  1. Great responses and professionalism by Trouba. Media really had a field day with rumors about him over the summer and some fans had a lot of classless and hateful things to say. Glad Trouba isnt phased and is paying no attention to it. Im happy he's still our captain. LGR!!!!

  2. I have a feeling we’ll be writing a collective apology letter to the captain. Yes he’s overpaid. Yes he had a bad playoff run. He was however dealing with a pretty egregious injury during the stretch. This team respects the crap out of him and he provides a real sense of community and stability in the locker room and with him being in tip top shape and something to prove I feel he’ll have a really solid bounce back performance. Even if not this fan base has come down way too hard on him. He’s handled it with grace and really still seems to love being here on this team and in this city. Wishing him the best. Also welcome aboard Reilly.

  3. Hopefully Trouba truly hasn't been poisoned by vitriol from some of the fans. Hope he has a good, healthy season to shut the critics up.

  4. No i was not happy with Trouba last season but my wish is when the announcer calls his name for the N.Y. Rangers Roster fans get up and give this man a standing ovation not for the player he is but for what he does off the ice for young kids. Peace.

  5. Do i believe the org wanted to part ways? Yes but i do think some things were really blown out of proportion, i would of prefer him of the team etc but he can stay healthy play smart then we’ll see
