I’d give it to Dubnyk. He was the main guy when I started following the wild so I have a soft spot for him. Argument can be made for Backstrom or Fernandez.

My heart wants Josh Harding to take this one.

Niklas Backstrom. Dude had .915 or better in 5 seasons with us and was a top 10 Vezina finisher 4 times. The heart of the team really prior to suter/parise.

Tough call on not choosing Manny Fernandez though. He had some great years on awful wild teams.

Best SV% and GAA. Simply has to be Anton Khudobin.

Niklas Backstrom. He just barely beats Fernandez and Dub for me. Harding should have been here though 🙁

It’s Dubie. But this one is a tough one. Remember manny and Rollie had the Lemaire 2-line pass neutral zone trap clutching hooking to help them.

Roloson. Because he was my first jersey i ever got as a kid.

    Backstrom.

Can you adjust the table to add names for each player selected?

I’m going to be pedantic and say Fleury. Out of all the Wild goalies at their prime, he was the best. He just wasn’t playing for us at the time.

It’s gotta be dubnyk, dude was a backup at best until he came here and carried the team on his back for multiple seasons

  11. Backstrom! I remember being at his first appearance (at least at the X) and thought his name was Blackstorm. Reading was hard for me as a child.

Backstrom. Honorary mention to left handed Josh Harding who kicked ass and made his tandem better by throwing off opponents with an opposite hand. He did great in shootouts (unless you’re Patrick Kane who made Harding look like a B2 Bantam)

  13. Backstrom. Him and Dubnyk have very similar stats when they were at their best but Backstrom did it for longer

I only got here in 21 so i don’t vote in these. Except for Rask, fuck that guy.

  15. Dubnyk

He was the first Great Wall of Saint Paul right?

  16. I’m not a fan for long enough to know the oldest guys, but since the goalies I saw play for the Wild are Dub, Kuemper, Stalock, Kahkonen, Talbot, MAF, Gus and Wallstedt it has to be someone else. MAF would be a legacy pick and Gus had like half a season of being elite before regressing.
