best flames rebuild ever … hes done sooooo much
man last rebuild over 10 seasons ago … we did not add all this depth to the team … we were pretty empty … this time around feels like the team is doing alot more to get better and grow the team… theres way more going on for this rebuild then ive ever seen us try….. and i know at the end of the day … tanking as worse as possible can benefit alot but we literally have never drafted top 3 … its just not our style to try to initially be bad .. even when we are bad we still giver .. in a perfect world we tank for 3-5 seasons but we dont have time for that in calgary … so i love this rebuild … working with what we got and trying to strengthen it instead of watering it completely down…aka a buffalo … we might not have that superstar yet but the roaster is loaded with guys .. we might not be playoff ready but we have some sleeper potential to have a solid team .. if 2 or 3 guys break out .. all of sudden we arent that dusty
Conroy has done an amazing job since joining the Flames as GM.. Honzek is the only swing and miss that I see.. Sharangovich was a great trade, Lindholm return was amazing!! I truly believe Conny will make sure every trade and every draft pick matters and that mentality will be the difference when it comes to the Calgary Flames in there new building!!

For the love of God don't make Mantha the extra man on the empty net. We've got all these young players with upside… I hate everything about the Mantha signing. Every single place I see Mantha playing I'd rather see Coronato, Pelletier, Zary, or Pospisil. Hello add some of these young guys like Stromgren, Morton or whoever else. The 4th round pick we get at the deadline isn't worth holding back the young guys we already have just to try and pump a mediocre players value
