Les Bruins pourraient-ils échanger Jeremy Swayman ? | Pucks With Haggs

I liked Sway, really did, fuk em now, there is no I in team, it's certainly not the Bruins way, for a part timer who has'nt won anything on the sports biggest stage (save for the all star appearance). He certainly values himself greatly.

  2. Trade his ass – who the hell does he think he is a HOF Goalie? HE wants wants wants ? What the hell has he ever done? Never a Vezina. Never a Cup and not even a full season as a number ONE – screw dat – screw him – ship him to Utah – Seattle who the hell cares – get him out of here – we will do just fine without him

  3. Signing a deal beyond 7-7.5 is hurting the team. If he wants a prove it deal, then take 2-3 years for 14-21 Million and renegotiate as a UFA. But I'm sure that Sweeney regrets giving up arbitration rights.
Over-paying hurts the team. This kid isn't a Vezina-winner YET. Does he have talent, absolutely. But he needs to play more than 45 games as a starter.
IF the Bruins could get a fair return, then trade him.

  4. I’ve disagreed with Haggs on a bunch of things in the past, but he is really speaking some sense here and I think he is stating what most Bruins fans are thinking and beginning to feel.

  5. With Swayman being a RFA the team trading for him would want a guarantee that he will sign with them so he does have some control over the situation.

  6. this grab-ass is pissing me off and i love sway. there are lots of funs that dont. i dont see this helping. geez,…do a bridge. you cant jump right to goalie bob, vassy numbers without being a fulltime guy, cup winner or multi vezina winner. god. when is the next lockout? 2/3 years?

  7. I have said for months- trade him. The only way he could stay in the organization is go out and say that he sorry that it comes out in a wrong way or is not true and that he really wants to be a B. I don’t really care how good he is – he is not Bruins material. Hagg are so right.

  8. trade sway i cant wait to see how great he is on team with mid defense no more than 7mill

  9. The line in the sand has also been determined by the Governor, Jeremy Jacobs. The Bruins will never set the market on a player and be responsible for all owners to have to start paying goalies at 10M on futures. (no Cups or top 3 votes for Vezina, never been a #1) I expect Swayman to be a stud, but he still has a lot to prove.

  10. Either they have a deal and are quiet and making all you speculators look really bad , which I think is the case or a trade is in coming with Marchand in the deal

  11. We’ve survived worse losses… it’s weird I always thought he was a dude from Alaska…preferrring an ice fishing pole to a Lamborghini… boy was I wrong….. would love to read into the minds of tremendous Bruins like Marchy Bergie and Z…..trade him now… his loss not ours….

  12. Finally!!! I've been saying it for the past month. If Swayman wants 8, 9, 10 million a year then trade his ass and get something for him. He hasn't earned the big pay day yet. His bubble needs to be burst. Over paying for him will hurt the team in the long run. Haggs is finally seeing the light.

And Evan, I told you years ago you aren't allowed to talk about goaltending. One should not speak of things they know nothing of. I do not speak of nuclear fission, you should not speak of goaltending.

    P.S. Ty knows nothing.

  13. This kid hasn’t achieved anything yet and he’s asking for Patrick Roy money. I don’t seem to remember Swayman making it past the second round of the playoffs in the NHL ever ok, let alone play 60+ games. Highest paid part-time employee ever no thanks. Take your 6 million like you should and go out there and prove to organization what you’re worth or go play hockey in Seattle and see how you like that shit for eight years

  14. In the span of three months, I’ve gone from excited to see him play to rolling my eyes every time I hear his name. He’s coming awfully close to being that guy everyone is looking forward to have out of Boston, just to see what we can get for him. He’s on thin ice and if I were him, I’d get control of that idiot he calls an agent real quick.

  15. Damn haggs love your takes. But Evan rolling his eyes thinking is this guy gonna let me get a word in jeeze. Lol

  16. Just to put this in perspective, the year Tim Thomas brought the Stanley Cup to Boston with lights out goaltending from the likes of which most of the league has never seen. He was making $5 million a year. A four year contract at 5 million. $10 million a year 😂 seriously? You hiding the new Wayne Gretzky in your butt hole or something?

  17. Ok I’m done. 🙄 if Sweeney gives that kid 10 million a year Sweeney should be fired.

  18. Swaymans ego has always been much bigger than his talent. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out

  19. You guys r tripping to be honest everybody getting upset about “swaymans ego” and trying to attack him as if he’s done anything. He’s never asked for 10m, that’s a rumor just as much as 4 x 6m is a rumor. In fact. There’s been little if not NO information regarding swaymans asking price vs any offers from Boston. So to claim it’s the “fault” or “ego” of either Swaymam, or Sweeney, is just speculation and completely useless. If there was any info to back up either side being the hold up here, then I could completely understand being mad at one side, but again there is NONE.

  20. Also this whole trade swayman bullshit is so stupid. Anaheim is NOT going to trade Gibson and ZEGRAS for an UNSIGNED goalie who’s apart of contract issues. Nobody is going to return his ACTUAL value because of the situation and the fact that it’s obvious the bruins r trading out of spite and rhey NEED to trade him. And then you’ve done what… traded away BOTH ur starting goalies for way less than their value?? Good way to fuck our team, especially since this “sways acting like an A-hole” has 0 factual support.

  21. The Bruins should trade Swayman and do a salary dump at the same time by adding Coyle to the trade and get a real second line center.

  22. I have been saying this all summer and stand by it, Sway is not worth north of 6 mill. He is unproven. I don't care what he did in the playoffs last season or the analytic bs with numbers. If he is going to keep this type of attitude trade his ass and get a top 6 forward and a pick in '25. I am perfectly comfortable with Korpasalo and Bussi.
