What I think is that Swayman dislikes how they signed Zadorov and Lindholm to good deals but they wont sign their best player to a huge one. Yes there is no cap space but I think that this will go through.

Boston is a 100yr franchise, and ongoing. Swayman has max 8-10 years left in his career. Finite timeline to make generational money. The organization would trade him to Columbus for a bag of pucks, uprooting his entire life if they thought it would help the club. 2. Don't trade that goalie before you have signed and secured the goalie you plan to keep.
3. Sign your goalie before you trade your other goalie.
4. Do not play hard ball with your no.1 goalie after you have traded your other no.1 goalie.
