Looks like almost (3/4ish) a full squad.
What’s the point of Reaves with these players especially assuming that Matthews and Willys line will be the same from practice and I would assume Tavares would replace Holmberg and play with Pacioretty and Grebenkin then Cowan and Quillan are stuck with Reaves when trying to prove themselves instead of Alex Nylander like in practice.
That’s way more of a complete squad then I would have figured
Seeing Cowan, Grebenkin, and Quillan should be super exciting, plus Pacioretty and Murray being the cherry on top

I guess because there’s only 6 preseason games and there’s not exactly a lot of jobs up for contest.

The fight for JT’s wing this preseason will be fun to watch, Grebenkin, McMann, Patches, Cowan, Robertson
Knies – Matthews – Marner
Domi – Willy – Jarnkrok
Pacioretty – JT – Grebenkin
Cowan – Quillan – Reaves
Very surprised to see Quillan there with the amount of forwards gunning for slots – 1 point in 10 AHL games last year.
Knies is a big big boy. Hopefully he uses some of that weight this year.
