Congrats Panthers fans. It's been 30 years since I've seen my Rangers lift the Cup but I still cry when watching the replay of Messier unable to contain his excitement when accepting it. This memory will stay with you forever. I'm sorry about Fluffy, but what better way to go out eh? Congrats. 👏
honestly man i dont think you had to worry anyway because if a game seven did happen then florida was going to be more desperate than edmonton because they knew what would happen and they knew that this is the year that they have to do it plus everybody started thinking the oilers were gonna win just like they thought florida would sweep

As a Panthers from the era of Niedermayer, Mellanby, Vanbiesbrouck, Jovocop, and my favorite player, Robert Svehla, it was really special to finally see my Panthers hoist the Stanley Cup.
Hurts to hear about Fluffy-in scripture we read that God knows when every creature passes, even one little sparrow. So what I’m saying is, he sees the hurting hearts of your family and Fluffy-he will provide comfort and peace. i don´t now if anyone have mentioned it anywhere. but Tarasenkov have two stanley cup. and each oft hem is a first time win for the team. so he have played for two teams who won their first stanley cup….
Congrats Fluffy to seeing your boys win the big one. As an oiler fan who got into hockey because of their 2006 run, only to see them lose by one goal (I don't count empty netters personally), and then stick by them during the decade of darkness, and watch them crawl through the beast that is the western conference gauntlet it's heartbreaking to see them lose by 1 goal in game 7 again.
But hey, enjoy it. You guys had a great comeback. The one thing I'll say is don't count the oilers out. You won by a single goal at the end of the day. There's a couple expensive conctracts that I'm hoping the Oilers can drop (Nurse and Campbell come to mind). Not to mention some cheap Depth/AHLers who showed up where it mattered in the playoffs (Broberg, Holloway, McLeod)
McDavid is rumoured to have a bad abdomen injury requiring surgery, he still played. Draisatl is rumoured and likely to be confirmed of not just a broken finger, but a broken rib.
You're one of the funnest hockey channels I follow now (Along with Austin Hockey and The Hockey Guy). Honestly, for 2025 I would love no more for the Oilers to make the cup final against nobody but the panthers. That was the most exciting cup final I've seen since 2006, and I'm not just saying that because my team was contending!
