Would be great to see Lekkeramaki and Sprong on Pettersson’s wing and who makes the most of this opportunity.

  2. No_Director4346

Excited to see Vinny play, I think he’s gonna be great for us

Lots of guys with a chance to prove themselves b2b and show how their legs are… Lekki, Pettersson (jk), Raty, Sasson, Blais, Karlsson.

Hoping to see more good stuff from Lekki & Raty. Sasson & Karlsson were aight and Blais needs to step it up

we have yet to score 5-on-5 this season

If I’m Sprong and get lined up next to Petey and Debrusk I’m ecstatic. If I’m Sprong and see Lekkerimaki lined up with them I’m saying, “Oh F*ck”

Edit: not saying it would be the end for Sprong, but if Lekkerimaki fits well with the two the young prospect stock only going up.

Is it on sportsnet like last night or na?

  7. fourtwentyfour424

Awe no milsy again. And no Petey squared.

  8. SomethingGreasy

Just for discussion’s sake, is this the last time we see Woo playing at the NHL level? I feel like he’s not making it and it’s at the point where he’s not going to get much better than he currently is. Obviously don’t want that, just thinking.

  9. Frumbleabumb

Nice to see E. Pettersson getting some ice time tonight

  10. N4ZZY2020

Excited that Petey is playing. But Miller isn’t?

  11. samuelmeirels

What do you guys think the lines will be? 🤔

  12. Canucksfan2018

Is Jett Woo a career AHLer at this point? Haven’t heard much about him during camp.

  13. SomebodySuckMeee

Pretty nice lineup for us Abby fans tonight.

  14. calam63

Damn no Miller again – Brough was mentioning that he was “advertised” to be playing last night – but didn’t make it by game time –

  15. JauntyGiraffe

Hmmmm, have we ever seen Elias Pettersson and Elias Pettersson play in the same game? Are we 100% sure they aren’t the same person?

    The truth is out there

  16. Any-Panda2219

“Elias Petterson is not in the lineup, but Elias Petterson is”

  17. CaptainIndoCanadian

Random and largely unrelated question but does anyone have any recommendations for bars to watch games (regular season) solo. Just a bar with some decent food and beers.

Didn’t wanna make an entire thread about it yet.

I hope Nate Smith has no relation to Former Canucks First Round Bust Nathan Smith. Other then him, it’s a pretty solid roster of prospects, bubble players and opening day players.

  19. Time-Dot5984

I am excited for the new guys here

  20. Da_Big_Zee

I am quite stoked to see what tonight’s lineup can bring. Need confirmation from the young guns that they have gotten better, expanded their hockey smarts. Also since it is Calgary, what kind of game are they bringing? Is it gonna be a rough n’ tumble contest? Who steps up tonight?

Honestly- just glad hockey is back!

  21. avmp629

Like seeing the few guys who are playing back-to-back

Especially Räty, Sasson, and Lekkerimäki who didn’t see NHL ice last season, it means management has a tougher decision to make if they keep playing well
