I get it. I wouldn’t watch a documentary about people sending emails and fucking around in excel.

I can’t help but feeling that he knows that it would be mentally difficult if the series makes him look bad for him.

The rest of the docuseries is about individuals on another team battling for and winning the cup. Which is something I’m sure he sees himself doing. I wouldn’t want to go out of my way to watch people I’m competing against attain what I want while I’m actively in pursuit of said goal.
Add on top of the above, to relive a painful failure? Yea I get it.
Anything that is going to be about Mitch in this documentary…he was there. I don’t think he needs a camera to remind him of it.
Ultimately the Leafs lost in the first round. It’s not going to make the team look glowing and I’m not sure that negativity is going to give any sort of benefit. I’m going to watch it because ultimately it doesn’t affect me but anyone watching this is just a glutton for punishment if you are directly involved.
