Regier inherited Hasek who took that team to the cup finals on his back, Meehan fleeced Chicago for Hasek. Then the presidents trophy happened after the lockout. Rule changes altered the style of play into a more fast paced game, something Darcy couldn’t have predicted. 05/06 and 06/07 were more on Lindy knowing how to use the team during the change in the NHL.
