i am going on record as saying that if that is the top line the majority of the year/if Raymond is w Larkin and Kane not for the majority of the year, the Wings will not just miss the playoffs but will be in the lottery.

I'm thinking one of Kaspar, Danielson or Mazur will be the 13th forward to start the season. Holl can be waived and if no one is foolish enough to claim him, he winds up in Grand Rapids. If one of Husso or Lyon get moved, that opens the roster to another forward. Remember, Campbell will be in Grand Rapids and can move up in the event of injury.
If Kasper continues on this level then he is on the team without a doubt. That's how good he was in this game and he delivered in all situations too.
Both him and Motte looked dominant in PK.

If Larkin can get to another level and be that elite 1C, and Kasper can be that true 2C that we so desperately need, that changes a lot about this team.A lot of ifs, but Compher and Copp aren’t top line centers and Larkin is probably a 2C on a contender.
That aside, our top wingers are still too small and too much alike. Soft skill has to be offset with tough skill. We don’t have true power forwards. Bennett, Tkachuk types. Definitely miss Bertuzzi.

Husso was his usual self and Cossa was just excellent.,Kasper and Mazur were the best forwards by a mile.
I like how Kasper played but man I was super impressed with Mazur! He was all over the place (in a good way)
My takeaway; Berggren better step up his game or he may not be wearing the winged wheel much longer.
Was at the game last night. Kasper was def making his presence known. MBN looked a little out of place and trying to find his way. Yet he will get better as times goes on.
I'm not in Detroit and I watched the Tigers game. Sorry-not-sorry. I'm pretty hype to see the boys of summer make a statement here in the fall. Just too bad yesterday'ss Tigers game wasn't a 1pm tilt so I could've watched both it and the preseason game.
I think this confirms what we already knew, that this year's scoring will be lead by Motte, Matta, and Petry. Raymond might even pitch in a goal or two here and there.
