[Alter] Easton Cowan dit qu’il joue sur une ligne avec Mitch Marner et Max Domi ce soir. Cela devrait être une grande opportunité pour le joueur de faire bonne impression lors de son troisième match de pré-saison.

Big game for Cowan tonight, unless he has a massive game it’s still prbly back to the O for him.
Also Domi is playing centre today by the looks of it

Big opportunity, but it’s looking like it’s back to London for Cowan. Which sucks cause he’s way too good for the CHL but just not quite good enough for the NHL.
Vilheim
That is one of the smallest and lightest lines we can muster lol.
Interested to see them wheeling around the zone though.

That’s a line that loves to pass and rack up assists
BloodBatman
Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t this the first time we’ll see Marner playing on the same line as Domi since he came to the Leafs? Or am I forgetting about it?

This is very smart. Hasn’t had the best camp so far, but this is the Leafs saying here’s your chance to start turning your camp around.
Big game tonight, show you can hang with the big boys, and you’ll still have that chance to fight your way on.

does this mean matthews isn’t playing?

Probably a dumb question, but why can’t Cowan play a year in the AHL? He’s way too good for the CHL and he’d at least be playing against grown men. I don’t see the downside unless there’s salary cap or contract considerations.
TheGapInTysonsTeeth
Pretty small line, let’s see how it goes.

I haven’t seen any of the pre-season yet, can anyone tell me how Cowan’s been playing so far?
Oggie5712
The London Knights line.

How has he done so far

Clearly management wants Easton to make the team this year (likely cus its the best option over sending him to dominate the OHL). This opportunity is his to mess up

A big impression would have been the other two games if he wasn’t invisible. That’s when you try to shine when you’re not with top guys, but outshine the lower guys.
He’s gunna go to AHL this year and called up for few games

Ooh, Knightline
Time for the tick-iest tack-iest of toes tonight.
I just wrote that for the alliteration
