Andrew Copp et Nate Danielson parlent après l’entraînement des Red Wings de Détroit le mardi 26 septembre au centre d’entraînement BELFOR à l’intérieur de la Little Caesars Arena.
Say what you want about Copp talking up his own eventual replacement, he's still probably the best interview on the team. Maybe the only player who doesn't give canned responses to every question.
This actually gave me a hint of how good of a person Nate is , a captain in the making , Well spoken and calmed and just so humble . I can easily see him as a captain here in 5-7 years
Must be really hard for this organization to get the technology or the brainpower to gather a microphone to amplify the questions being asked by these whispering idiot reporters?
If Andrew Copp was making $3 million instead of $5.6 million, he'd be a fan favorite… he's a Michigan guy with grit & a smart game, and he can win some big faceoffs & kill penalties. We need his contract to match his level of contributions, though. I think Husso, Holl, & Petry are bigger detrimental players than Copper by far.
Nate Danielson is gonna be a really solid player for the Red Wings for a long time… he's so even-keeled, intelligent, and talented. I can't wait until he gets his shot, but I think he'll spend most of this season in GR. I do hope that when injuries happen (and they will), the Wings call up some of the youngsters instead of Czarnik, Luff, etc. I like those guys, but they need to grow the talent.
Copp got paid to be a 2C. He clearly didn’t fit that, so Compher was signed last year, at 2C money. Maybe the middle Cs are overpaid, but they solidify the middle 6. LGRW

Give Copps spot to young Nate Danielson.
What's the over-under on Nate's heart rate? I'm going with 40.

I’d like to see Danielson and Kasper on Copp’s wings. I think it would be like having two 2nd lines.
This kid is 45 years old
Nothing person Copp but, you could learn from your own advice to younger players..

Again, Copp has all the makings of a future coach. So smart and into the details.
