  1. As much as it feels like a cop out to say they could go either way, and as easy as it is to say they’re gonna go the way of their goaltending it’s absolutely true. Binnington on pure will could put force them into a wild card and a 93+ point season. If he regresses into the agitator role when he’d become a head case then they could be a lottery team without much difficulty.

As a fan I’m hoping for the former. Army has let players go as you guys said without adequate replacement, but soon he’ll get impatient and I also think a move forward will be coming from him. I don’t know it’ll be Marner though.

By the way I know Steve had to be joking with his last comment at 11:03

  2. Little bit of Rob Thomas disrespect here. All that Daily Faceoff lineup is missing the young guys that most likely enter the lineup at some point this year. Bolduc and Dvorsky will be playing for them at some point. Bolduc most likely starts in the top 6. Could be playing next to Thomas

  3. Thomas was over a point per game even with a weak offense and terrible power play. We’re counting on improvement. Under Berube, the power play was historically bad. We’ll score more goals this year.

  4. Buchnevich-as he goes so does the team along with Thomas and the goaltending. They can play with any team but they need to play as a team.

  5. The Blues' stud is Robert Thomas…I think he's going to shock some people this year and the years to come. Also don't sleep on Bolduc if he's able to crack the roster. He'll be playing top 6 and he's got lots of potential.

  6. Krug has been a weakness the last couple years. Feel bad for him but him gone is a great thing. Also our top six scores just fine it was the bottom six that hindered them last year. Not having Vrana and Blais and Hayes in the way will be a big plus even if there isn’t a sexy new scoring addition. Our new bottom 6 looks vastly improved and frankly that was the biggest problem last season

  7. Another thing is we didn’t have that top end talent you guys seem to think we need when we won a cup so I don’t think that’s a solid argument against this team. Steve seems clueless about how good Robert Thomas is especially at 8 million. You guys do great work but as someone that closely follows the Blues it’s always cringy to watch you analyze them. Not really faulting you though it’s impossible to follow every team as closely as you do your own. Love watching all your previews nonetheless!

  8. FYI, statistically a scorers best year is age 24. In terms of points per minute played. That 28 year old being in his prime is an ancient myth. Kyrou is what his stats say he is.

  9. I say this with only love and respect for y’all (and the rest of the NHL) but WHAT IS SO HARD ABOUT RADEK FAKSA’S NAME?????

  10. Thomas was a good value contract for 8 mil. 86 points but to answer steve at the end. No one wears 16 in STL, thats Hulls number lol
