Tippett acknowledged that especially at the end of the game, he was purposely trying to get the puck to Michkov so he could potentially score a goal in his first home game at the Wells Fargo Center. Passed up some quality shooting opportunities to do it, too.

I fricken love how that lines looking man. Michkov is making Frost play a more north-south game & crash the net more. Tippett is actually looking to pass a bit more than just blindly shoot.
All 3 can make elite plays. All 3 can dangle a dman silly. All 3 are creative. They’ll have their horrendous turnovers & games, but I pray Torts gives them a decent leash because the upside of that trio is very high.

I’m glad he confirmed what we all suspected. I’m glad he knows he could’ve been the hero. I love that Tippett wasn’t even our prospect, but is treating this place like it’s all he knows and wants to give back to those just entering the family.
