I’m not sure but that can’t be it on the theme nights and bobbleheads, lol, pretty short list and only one bobblehead noted so far (Markstrom) for the regular season finale.

No obvious choice imo. I could see a pandolfo / zajac / Greene being next, though.

My hope is Zajac just for when I started to watch hockey. An absolute stud for so many years

I hope it’s Jacques Lemaire. He set the foundation for this franchise. Without him it’s very possible the success of the 90’s never happens and this franchise is relocated. Hell Bettman was threatening to relocate us and that was while we were winning . Who knows what happens if Jacques never comes to the Devils.

Could be Doc or Chico. Player wise I feel like it’s gotta be MacLean

Pat Burns possibly? Would work with the Bruins in town.

    Most likely candidates IMO:

    *Chico Resch

    *Jacques Lemaire

    *John MacLean

    *Travis Zajac

    *Andy Greene

    *Bruce Driver

    *Brian Rafalski

    *Doc Emrick

As was already noted, I don’t think Lou Lamoriello gets honored until he’s no longer employed by another NHL team.

Whoever the F it is, the team on the ice better not put on another shit show performance like they just did with Brylin’s Ring of Honor Game against Dallas back in January. What were they like down 6-0 halfway through that game? Poor Sergei

    1 freaking bobblehead giveaway?

Why does everything have to go to shit?

    My guess is Lou.

The Isles are off that night, and their games before (1/20) and after (1/24) this 1/22 game are both at home, so he’ll be available and likely in the area. And he’s probably gonna work until he dies so no sense in waiting until he’s off another team’s payroll before honoring him.

I can’t see it being MacLean. Or Zajac. Or any other player right now since Brylin was last year. Gotta be a coach. Gotta be Lemaire. More important for the Devils getting on the map than many that are being mentioned.

    Hopefully one of the following:
    Jacques Lemaire
    Larry Robinson
    Pat Burns
    Doc Emrick
    Chico Resch

Lou deserves more than a Ring of Honor.

I’d prefer they hold off on players until they induct the names above but Johnny Mac should be the next player.

John McLean if he hasn’t yet. Jacques too, or Claude lemieux hoping

IDGAF if he is currently employed by another team – Lou deserves it while he is still alive and no other person is *more* deserving at this moment.

Lots of others do deserve it, of course; they can get theirs after Lou does.
