Honestly given the number of times I’ve shouted at Matt boldy to a.) shoot the damn puck and b.) not directly into the goalies chest he’s on my short list.

Gotta be Ryan « PP1 wrister » Suter

  3. OMGitsKatV

Weak wrister from the point Ryan Suter has to win it

Dumba never hit the net . He hit the glass hard as fuck though.

  5. galway1126

I know he has a clapper, but the amount of times dumba shot right into the opposing players shin pads, leading to a breakaway, makes him a good nomination

  6. I think a lot of folks will say Boogaard for this one, but I think there are a couple of others that stand out to me.

    Justin Falk. 121 GP, 91SOG, 1G, 1.1%

    Greg Pateryn 103GP, 123SOG, 1G, 0.8%

    Clayton Stoner 227GP, 180SOG, 4G, 2.2%

    Brad Bombardir 212GP, 198SOG, 3G, 1.5%

My vote goes to Stoner tbh. Longest tenure, and it was sometimes a [literal miracle](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2alSjiFcaBA) when he scored.

Zucker’s breakaways were so bad, I’d look at my phone during. Dude had the wheels but cement blocks for hands.

Suter or Dumba. Pick your poison.

  9. chaachie12

Suter, because he belongs on a « worst » category.

His vibes were immaculate, but my god Chris Stewart’s shot was chaotic. No flow to his shooting motion, and all of his goals felt like a happy accident.

#Colton Gillies has to have one of the worst shots statistically.

    ### **Colton Gillies**
Colton Gillies, drafted 16th overall by the Wild in 2007, struggled to meet offensive expectations. In 154 games, he scored only 6 goals on 143 shots, yielding a shooting percentage of just 4.2%. His shot was so bad they changed his role to a checking forward instead of scoring, which indicated even staff knew his shot sucked.

You could also make an argument for **Matt Johnson** but he was never supposed to be a sniper.

    ### **Matt Johnson**
Matt Johnson’s role as an enforcer naturally minimized his scoring chances. Over 473 NHL games (several seasons with the Wild), Johnson registered only 23 goals, focusing more on physical play than offense. His low scoring output, combined with 1,523 PIMs, reflects his role leaving his shot unpolished and ineffective.

Who is voting on these Pre 30 y/o? I do not agree with most of these.

  13. Marek Zidlicky. His shot was the only thing that got him a roster slot and he never hit the net with it. One of the most useless players the Wild ever gave 100+ games.

Lapanta sounded like a broken record having to always say « Coyles shot goes high and wide » over, and over, and over.

That being said the obvious answer for me is Suter.

  15. why666ofcourse

Suter for sure. His pathetic wrister into shinpads was so frustrating especially since he always ended up on the PP somehow

going back to Hockey Ref for this one, but not just grabbing dudes who haven’t played many games. Here are some of my lowlights to nominate here:

    1) Brad Brown played in 138 games for the Wild and never scored on 47 shots.

    2) Clayton Stoner played 227 games and on 180 total shots had a 2.2 shooting %.

    3) Suter posts a 4.5 shooting % off of a wild 1225 shots.

Yep that wraps it up. This is Suters box 100%.

  17. stevemkto

Yes, sounds out right to me… Suter wrist shot

Brodziak always found himself on the breakaway and I swear he never buried any of them.
