Watched two of the training sessions and the DeBrusk-Pettersson-Lekkerimaki line was absolute fire!! Their chem was super good! So was the chem for D-Petey & Hronek (whose shot looked as lethal as ever). Kudryavtsev also looked really good out there, Myers not so much 🫢 (he got defensively outplayed by smaller players numerous times and none of his offensive tries were any good). Conor Garland remains the definition of “locked in” and I think Hoglander is gonna have an even better year this season! Both of these players seemed to work well with pretty much anyone. Daniel Sprong might end up as one of the best contracts in the league, cause holy shit that guy is a straight shooter. I can’t recall anyone else getting as many pucks in the net as him. Other standouts were Alriksson, Tolopilo, Raty, Sherwood (who was also an absolute sweetheart and the kindest player I’ve met), Romani (definitely a draft steal), and Sasson. A great surprise was Desharnais, he seemed to gel pretty well with the other players (especially Miller) and actually got a few good shots plus a goal. I think he might perform better than expected with this coaching staff behind the wheels.
