  1. I don't trust Frank when it comes to the Leafs. But, he does seem to know somebody in Chicago's group. He was all over the McCabe deal prior to it happening…. and I've seen him with a lot of accurate forecasting around the Hawks.

    There might be something there

  2. If the Leafs trade Robertson, watch him go to another team and score over 25 goals this season and 30 goals next season.

  3. What do you mean he had a "good camp!?…. he injured Willy and scored a goal
he's NOT top six. Berube has seen enough. he's too small and can't defend

  4. Cowan is already better. Looks to be getting better (with confidence) every pre season game. Brings more to the game than Nick. If Nick isn’t scoring, he doesn’t bring anything else of value. He works hard, but he’s too small. Cowan isn’t much bigger but he already plays heavier and he could play up/down the lineup without hindering his game or the teams. Top 9. Not saying Cowan should make the team this year, but I’m really starting to get excited to watch him full time!
Also, Lorentz NEEDS to sign and be on the 4th line! Big, can skate, hits, penalty kill, etc!

  5. As long as they get a good defence minded player. Robertson never gets played and was a healthy scratch for a good part of last season. Despite scoring more goals than a regular playing Domi. Not knocking Domi he’s a great play maker. But Robertson could be on the verge of a breakout season but needs regular playing time to develop. The kid is 23 years old. Come on!

  6. If he is as good as you guys think why didn’t any team pick him up this summer, leafs signed him to trade him is what I think

  7. There is a greater chance Robertson stays then Pacioretty, but Max is a great presence out there and I think the Leafs are going to find a place for him

  8. Trading Robertson is a no brainer. Last time he had a good start and we didn’t trade him he got injured. He won’t be any help in the playoffs as he is clearly not the kind of player that excels in the playoffs over the last 10 years at least

  9. Twice the last game, Robertson got crunched, and I was waiting to see if he went off hurt. He didn't, but it's just a matter of time before he's on the LTIR. Talented kid, nothing against him as player, but trade him.

  10. there's a reason Florida won with big bottom 6 forwards. Nick although has potential. He just isn't someone we need.

  11. LOL.. Frank Saravalli needs to quit. Always wrong… We know Robertson needs to sign to showcase himself and get the opportunity to be traded. How they will work out the cap will be the critical part. If they cant then yes he will be traded, but he looks good for other teams to now give a good trade value for Robertson.

  12. As long as it just isn't rumors, get rid of him, if he's literally given them an ultimatum that if he's not top 6 that he needs to be traded than 1000% get rid of him, he doesn't care about the team why should they care about him?

  13. Frank serravali has zero credibility, less after his whole “5% chance Marner stays with the team.” There’s a 0% chance I have any respect for anything he says.

  14. Will the habs try to claim leafs players off the waiver wire if Robertson is left unprotected? The Habs need scoring if Laine is out for sometime.
