1. Bussi and DiPietro have been rebound machines so far,I have tried to keep in mind that they have not had much support in front either. Usually I have faith that Sweeny will get the job done getting a signing done but now, not so much. I know fans want to blame the GM, however in this case we may be experiencing 2 egos not interested in what's best for the team or the player. someone should inform Sweeny and Swayman that headbutting is illegal in the NHL.😵

  2. Come on Sweeney
Get the deal done with Sway ASAP
With Korpi as the back up we again have an excellent one to punch in the net 🥅

  3. Agree all around. You are right about that Michkov guy. Philadelphia got themselves a good one.
Poitras for sure has secured his spot. He looks very solid.
Best game for Lysell by far. He looked like he could hold his own out there. He seemed to be in the right places at the right time both offensively and defensively.
The Bruins only had 3 of their top 7 defensemen in there. Korpisalo did great work. I think with our full team on the ice his job will only get easier. This group of defensemen left a lot of flyers alone in the slot last night. Worrisome. They need to work on their defensive zone coverage immediately.
I also thought Lohrei looked more comfortable. He looked like the guy we saw last year. IDK about him and Peeke as a team but they were alright at times.
And yeah, Merkulov was invisible last night.

  4. As soon as I saw the respective lineups for this game, I said to myself if Korpisalo even has a half decent night, I will be pleased. But almost 40 saves in front of a ECHL defense? Can’t ask for more tbh lol. At best, I think he can give us a chance to win and keep us afloat. And at worst I think he will be a very serviceable back up if Swayman ever takes his binky out and decides to play hockey for the Boston Bruins again 😅. Very encouraged by the growth of Poitras and Lysell also. I think the Bruins have a very complete team and it will essentially hinge on how selfish Jeremy Swayman is

  5. Here is the thing nobody takes into consideration. The Bruins for the better part of 20 years have been a lock down defensive trap orientated team. This kind of defensive tend to make the goaltenders much better they are. It will be interesting to see how Ulmark performs this season without the same system out in front of him. Swayman should take the 6 Million for 2 years bridge and try free agency when his bridge contract is up. Look at Ulmarks numbers before being a Bruin.

  6. im glad center ice is giving their annual free watch. Bs not on nesn and nhl network gets blacked out. poitras looks good. joonas looked just as.

  7. Great update. Kind of becoming clear why Korpisalo was acquired. Swayman insurance, Bussi not NHL ready. I'm still not a fan of the Ullmark deal, but starting to understand Sweeneys thinking.

  8. Very excited for this season! Got some good guys in the pipes, the competition is intense and the skill is insane!

  9. Korpi did really good last night. 3 million a year for him is awesome and it leaves plenty of space to sign more offense. We’re still short a right winger who can score 20+ goals.
